Hunting-Pattern Bronze Pot

Hunting-Pattern Bronze Pot, Warring States Period, Unearthed in Qingyang Community, Chengdu


It is 26 cm at its maximum diameter and 41.4 cm tall. With a slightly large opening and slender neck, it has an oval body and short circular base. A pair of rings is adorned on both sides. From top to bottom, it can be divided into 7 sections, each covered with different images and patterns. Three thematic images, i.e. cranes, hunting scene, and three-legged birds are punctuated by diamond, snake, and cloud patterns.
