Zhang Caiqin was a famous painter, art educator and art activist in China. As a painter, he was bold in exploring. As an educator, he taught and guided untiringly in his lifetime. As an activist, he spared no effort to publicize and support the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression. Compassionate and kindhearted, he tied deep friendship with many famous artists. This exhibition displayed the paintings, collections and tools of Zhang Caiqin, simply depicting a period of rapid changes through this modern exhibition. The exhibits told life stories about Zhang Caiqin as well as his artistic achievements and great contributions to Sichuan painting and calligraphy during the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, presenting a master with exquisite techniques and noble character for us.
