Appreciation

This was a large foreign cultural relics exhibition, which was initiated by Art Exhibitions China and co-organized by Chengdu Museum, Guizhou Provincial Museum and Hebei Museum. The exhibition showed 234 pieces (sets) carefully-selected cultural relics from the Peterhof State Museum-Reserve, including oil paintings, costumes, gold and silver wares, chinaware, glassware, brass works and furniture, as well as some former royal utensils, with a view to restore the royal life and interpret the aesthetic appreciation of the royal family. The exhibition aimed to allow visitors to have a close look at the history of the Romanov Dynasty in Russia and learn the unique cultural and artistic style of Russia without bothering to travel to Russia.
